I started my career in sales as a manager of two large gyms in Northern Mississippi, where I first developed a deep love for marketing. In that role, I was responsible for applying traditional marketing tactics—community outreach, promotions, and relationship-based selling—which resulted in a 15–20% increase in sales. While managing teams and driving revenue, I earned an MBA with a quadruple minor in leadership, finance, human resources, and public administration, strengthening my foundation in both strategy and operations. I later transitioned into insurance sales, where my passion for marketing grew even more as I relied heavily on guerrilla marketing tactics to generate leads and build trust in highly competitive markets. From there, I moved into corporate sales, serving small to mid-sized businesses, where I developed a clear and practical understanding of digital marketing and how online strategies translate directly into revenue. My career continued to evolve as I accepted a promotion into international go-to-market marketing, followed by alliance marketing, where I served as a program manager working with large organizations to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives. During this time, I earned a Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in project management. Today, I work in marketing communications technology, bringing together strategy, systems, and execution to help businesses grow with intention.
